I’m not sure how to feel about this deck. I’ve had some interesting experiences with it already. I’m not liking this at all though. This is the second pull from this deck and the second really negative card I pulled.

The Nine of Swords in any position is a very inauspicious card in any spread and in any position. I call it the card of FUD – Fear, uncertainty and doubt. It is the card of worry, distress, and concern.

When the Nine of Swords appears in a spread it often indicates that your thoughts might actually be worse than the situation really is. Everybody worries, but this card shows that you may be obsessing over a concern or situation that may not be as bad as it seems. It tells us to calm down and reevaluate the situation at hand.

Sometimes our thoughts can be our own worst enemies. Negative thoughts can fill us with worry and doubt. Negative thoughts can keep us up at night, and even paralyze us with fear. When we obsess over worries and fears we are unable to look at a problem from any other angle. We convince ourselves that all is lost, and allow ourselves to get sucked into a vortex of despair.
